Let’s face it, we’ve all got dreams and aspirations, but how many of us actually take the necessary steps to turn those dreams into reality? The truth is, not many. As a Confidence and Life Coach, I’ve seen it time and time again: people setting goals but never achieving them. I’m here to share with you the 7 most important things you need to know to achieve your goals and make your dreams come true.


Confidence in your abilities to go after your goals can sometimes be difficult to find or keep.

It can sometimes take time to discover the confidence you have inside you. This can be especially true if you are trying something new.

  1. Set a Proper Goal

First things first, you need a goal. And not just any goal, but a goal that’s:

  • Meaningful: If your goal doesn’t excite you, what’s the point? You’re much more likely to achieve a goal that you’re passionate about.
  • Clear: How will you know when you’ve achieved your goal? Be specific and have a way of measuring your progress.
  • Time-bound: Goals without deadlines are just dreams. Set a deadline and stick to it.
  1. Visualize Success

Picture yourself achieving your goal. What does it look like? How does it feel? The more vividly you can imagine your success, the more likely you are to achieve it.

  1. Use Affirmations

Tell yourself that you’re the kind of person who can achieve your goal. Think about the attributes you need to be successful and create affirmations that support those attributes. Repeat them to yourself daily, and watch your confidence soar.

  1. Gather the Right Information

You can’t achieve a goal without knowing how to get there. Make sure you have the right knowledge and tools to make your goal a reality.

  1. Take Action

Wishing for success won’t get you anywhere – you need to take action. Figure out what you need to do and then do it, one step at a time.

  1. Embrace Discomfort

Pursuing a significant goal will inevitably lead to some discomfort. Learn to minimize that discomfort as much as possible and push through whatever remains. Remember, growth happens outside of your comfort zone.

  1. Persevere

Big goals take time, and sometimes things don’t go as planned. When the going gets tough, don’t give up – keep pushing forward and stay committed to your goal.

By incorporating these 7 key ingredients into your goal-setting process, you’ll be well on your way to achieving your dreams..
