Do You Have a Prosperity Mindset?

If you don’t already have a prosperity mindset, it might be a hard thing to imagine. There are certain ways you can chase your dreams while keeping wealth and prosperity in mind at the same time.

A prosperity mindset encourages you to take action each day to improve your life on numerous levels, such as health, wealth, love or anything else you deem important.

Study The Actions Of Successful People

Perhaps this is the most important suggestion. Learn by example. Find someone successful whom you admire and do what they do. These individuals serve as proof that your dreams can come true.

* Find someone who has had the same kind of success that you desire.
* Study what they’ve done right as well as their mistakes.

It’s always easier when we have an example to follow. Find a way to ask successful people questions. You might be surprised to know that successful people love to inspire others to find success as well. They know that there’s plenty of success to go around. That’s the prosperity mindset in action!

It’s All About Being Positive

If you believe in yourself, you can achieve your dreams. The moment you think you can’t do something, you can’t. You know that negative feelings arise from time to time and that’s okay. However, you need to keep a positive image of the big picture in your mind at all times.

* Picture yourself reaching your goals and imagine how it feels.
* Surround yourself with positive people.
* Write prosperity affirmations.
* Be an open person.

When you open up to new opportunities, you open up to prosperity. Stay motivated and don’t be afraid of change.

Setting Goals And Action Plans

You can dream all day about where you’d like your life to go, but without a goal or an action plan nothing will happen. Take time to think about the big picture and then draw in the lines of how you’re going to get there.

* Break down your goals into smaller steps.
* Set manageable and achievable goals.
* Stick to your plan whenever possible.

Don’t Give Up

You have to have the dedicated motivation and drive to tell yourself that you’ll stop at nothing before you reach success. When you talk to or study the actions of someone who is successful, they’ll likely tell you tales of their many failures. There were probably times when they felt like giving up, but they were able to push through defeat.

* Realize that everyone feels like giving up, but we can’t give in to these feelings.
* Keep the image of your goal in your mind.
* Make changes if you need to, but continue taking action toward your goal.

Get A Life Coach

People with prosperity mindsets are all different. They have different approaches to getting what they want and they have different definitions of what prosperity is for them.

There are certain things they do have in common though. They all have a hungry enthusiasm for life and a positive attitude that they’ll continue to use on the journey forward.

If you feel that you lack any of the core beliefs and are still unsure about whether or not you can adopt a prosperity mindset, you could always look into getting advice from a life coach. They’ll be able to break down your problems and concerns and tailor a plan that will work for you personally.

When you implement these strategies, you’ll gain a renewed prosperity mindset that will help you on your life journey.

Build Wealth with Positive Thinking

“Cultivate an optimistic mind, use your imagination, always consider alternatives, and dare to believe that you can make possible what others think is impossible.” ― Rodolfo Costa, Advice My Parents Gave Me: and Other Lessons I Learned from My Mistakes

Positive Thinking And Wealth

success through positive thinkingTo achieve any kind of great success, you must first believe that you’re capable of achieving that success. Great sports stars can suddenly begin having lousy performances if they suddenly feel they can’t perform well or live up to their coach’s high expectations. Writers and musicians suddenly have their wellsprings of inspiration dry up if they no longer “feel it” or if they suddenly lose confidence in their creative abilities.

The same is true in our own lives. You don’t have to be famous for your boss to have high expectations of you at work. Our families also have certain expectations and if you cave under the pressure, your performance might suffer and your negative thoughts will infiltrate other areas of your life.

You’re Worthy of Achieving Wealth and Success

When it comes to building wealth, we have to believe that we can see ourselves becoming more and more wealthy. It doesn’t matter how smart we might be, or how talented we are, or whether we’re sitting on top of the best business opportunity to come along in our lifetime, if we don’t believe in ourselves, we’ll have a hard time building wealth.

Wealth flows to those who believe they deserve it. It flows to those who envision it in their hands, their bank accounts, and their lives.

Even in your darkest hours when you’re trying to build wealth in your life, when times are tough and the seas of your world are troubled, you have to continue to see great wealth in your life. If it all seems to be happening too slowly, have patience.

Those who “know” something good is coming their way can always afford to be patient and safe in their knowledge that what they’re yearning for is within their grasp.

You’ll Survive the Difficult Times

Earlier I mentioned sports. One of the great coaches in professional sports history, Vince Lombardi, said the time when you really need to believe in yourself is not when everything is going your way. You need to believe in yourself when everyone doubts you.

It’s easy to have confidence when everything is naturally falling into place! But where is your confidence when you need it the most? Obviously, it can be tough to maintain a positive mindset when others get down on you, but to help improve your outlook, try to surround yourself with people who believe in you and are supportive of your goals. Engaging with others who share your enthusiasm will lift your spirits and help block out negative thoughts.

When you have a positive mindset about creating wealth, you’ll continue to do what feels right even when the darkness descends and everything seems like chaos. When no one else believes in you, you’ll still be able to take inspired action and, by constantly moving forward, you’ll attract the wealth that you desire.

But none of this can happen unless you begin with a clear vision. You have to see yourself with the wealth and abundance you desire and deserve. Each day, take a moment to find a quiet place and see yourself with the financial freedom, flexibility, and life you desire!

8 Ways to Boost Your Optimism

“Choose to be optimistic, it feels better.” ― Dalai Lama XIV

Boost Your Optimism

optimism3Your outlook in life is so important, and yet many people never give it much thought. If you’re optimistic, you’ll open doors for yourself and lead a happy life. However, with a negative mindset, you could end up in places that you never intended to be. This isn’t some fairytale ideal; it’s absolutely true!

Being optimistic might seem like a large task, but there are simple things you can do to improve your outlook. If you practice each day, you’ll be doing yourself a great favor, since your mindset is the very foundation for achieving success and fulfillment.

Here are some easy techniques you can use to boost your optimism:

1. Avoid getting hung up on one thing. Sometimes you may feel like there’s one situation that’s holding you back. Maybe there’s just one thing that has seemingly ruined your day. Resolve to let it go so it doesn’t bother you anymore. After all, there’s a whole world out there just waiting for you to experience!

2. Remember that there’s always a silver lining. If you’re having a bad week, it’s not a reason to let negativity cloud your thinking. Seek the silver lining in every challenging situation. Remember that setbacks often occur right before you reach success.

3. Get over the past. Remember that the past is the past; it doesn’t need to keep repeating itself. In fact, if you keep recalling the past, you are the one taking it with you into your future. Learn how to let it go no matter how painful it might have been. The future can be filled with great things, but a great future can only start when you’ve come to terms with your past.

4. Be thankful. Make a list of all the things you’re thankful for in your life. Include even the smallest things, like the lucky penny you found on the street or the loving hug your partner gave you today. You’ll most likely end up with a long list that you can look to whenever you feel like you’re slipping into negativity.

5. Use positive affirmations. Nothing brings out optimism like the use of affirmations. These positive statements bring optimistic energy into your present. They are a way of communicating with your subconscious mind so you can maintain control over how you feel. Use them every day and every time you need a boost of positivity.

6. Surround yourself with positive people. Humans are social beings that can feel the energy of others. Have fun with positive and supportive friends and family members. Just being around positive people can lift you up when you’re feeling down.

7. Watch your language. Do you speak positively to yourself and others, or are you judgmental and negative? Try to shift over to only positive speech. Practice using upbeat words while you focus on the positive in every situation.

8. Remember that even a positive life has ups and downs. Life won’t always be perfect, but there are many ways you can still make the best of it. Accept the fact that bad things will happen from time to time, but avoid dwelling on these things. You’ll bounce back if you remain open to optimism.

In the end, you’ll find that simple things can boost your optimism. You don’t need to wait for some grand opportunity; just open your eyes to the beauty of the world around you and you’ll see wonderful things!

To your success

Improving Motivation – How To Put An End To Procrastination – By: Joe Gough

Improving motivation is an excellent way of increasing your effectiveness and achieving your true potential.

For example, many of us spend too much of the day in endless procrastination. We lack motivation, and are wasting valuable time … time which could be put to better use in achieving goals that are important to us and making the most of our true potential.

So, how do you go about breaking the habit of procrastination? How do you improve your motivation, and build self-trust?

Well, you have various techniques to choose from. They basically boil down to very simple techniques, which you can easily carry out yourself, or more advanced techniques, which will normally require more specialized knowledge.

Let’s take a look at examples of both …

Self Improvement Motivation – Simple Technique

Although surprisingly easy, you’ll find the following exercise an extremely effective way of increasing motivation:

Step 1: Set yourself a task which is easy to achieve.

Step 2: Once you’ve accomplished it, give yourself a nice reward for being so good!

Step 3: Set yourself a slightly more difficult task to achieve.

Step 4: Reward yourself again once you’ve achieved it.

Step 5: Rinse and repeat Steps 3 and 4 until satisfied.

There, that wasn’t too difficult, was it?!

Self Improvement Motivation – Advanced Techniques

Are you struggling with serious motivational problems, which stop you from achieving your true potential?

Then you may well need more advanced techniques, which will deal with your motivational issues at a deeper level.

Two such techniques include EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique, and the Sedona Method. Both are powerful self improvement programs.

EFT addresses many problems – not just lack of motivation – ranging from anxiety and emotional trauma, through to self-confidence and public speaking.

Founded by Gary Craig, using adapted techniques of Dr Roger Callahan, it involved tapping specific parts of your body with your fingers.

The Sedona Method also helps with a variety of problems, improving your health and well-being, personal relationships, peace and happiness, and wealth and success. In a nutshell, it teaches you how to let go or release unwanted thoughts, beliefs or feelings that are of no use to you.

Achieve your true potential and make the most of your life by improving motivation.

Life Coach Tip: Struggling with Productivity? Remove the Distractions – by Brian Osher

Do you ever wonder why some people are so much more productive than other people? Do you struggle with your ability to get enough done? Do you have to-do lists that just remain to-do lists instead of becoming already done lists? Are you constantly in search of the magic secret of how to get things done?

For many of us, the answer to all of these questions is YES! Personally speaking, I had struggled with my own productivity battles for many years. I spent countless hours searching for the best and most effective productivity tools and techniques. Of all of the tips and information that I dug up, there were two things that I decided to focus on and see if it would make a significant difference in my results.

The first thing that I knew that I had to do was to COMMIT to becoming a more productive person. This is the most important step in any goal that you aim to achieve or in any lifestyle change that you want to make. Before anything else, you have to make a firm decision to make that change and commit to it at all costs. If you can truly do that, then half of the battle is already won. Always ask yourself if this goal is worth achieving or if this lifestyle change is worth making. If the answer is yes – commit to it!

The second thing that I decided to commit to doing was to remove all potential distractions when it was time to work and get things done. This alone has made a greater impact on my productivity that anything else that I’ve tried. By removing the distractions during my work time, I am now able to stay focused and as a result, get much more done in a shorter period of time. Here’s how I did it:

Tips for Removing and Managing Distractions

1.Identify the little things that keep you from focusing on your work

I wrote out an honest list of everything that would potentially distract me while I was working. For me, those things included: Incoming emails, texts, instant messages, phone calls, random web searches, kid interruptions, and even playing my guitar.

2. Create a checklist of your typical distractions and keep that list in your work are

Keeping this list in front of you will serve as a reminder that you need to stay focused. Review your list each time you sit down to work and take the necessary actions to prevent those distractions before they come up. In my case, I would close my email, instant messenger, internet, turn off my phone, etc. By doing this, I was making a conscious decision to avoid the distractions. Eventually, taking these action steps became a habit and it is now just the way that I work, without even thinking about it.

3. Schedule your work times as well as your break times

This is a key component to staying focused. Schedule both work shifts and distraction breaks into your day. Depending on what I am working on, I will typically schedule myself for hour-long shifts. I will commit to “focused” work for about fifty minutes at a time, and then I’ll take a ten to fifteen minute break before starting again. During that break time, I will do things like check email, answer texts, etc. The key here is to put a time limit on your breaks and put off the non-urgent things that come up until after I’ve finished working for the day.

4. Get Others On Board

I discovered that it makes a big difference when those around you understand and respect your dedicated work time. If those people who might normally distract you understand the importance of not bothering you while you’re working, they will tend to leave you alone. This is an essential step, whether you work at home or in an office. In my case, my family knows that if my office door is shut, that I am not available for anything less than an emergency. They understand and respect my commitment to being productive and they know that I’ll be on a short break soon enough, at which point they can have my attention. Tip: If have a hard time convincing others to let you work, try making a bold “Do Not Disturb” sign and put it on your door or on your desk. They’ll get the hint!

5. Keep Practicing!

Becoming productive is a skill. All skills require practice and repetition in order to excel at them. Stay with it at all costs. If you find yourself slipping and easily becoming distracted, re-focus on your commitment and your strategy and get back to work. Eventually, it will become easier and easier to stay focused.

What strategies do you use to stay focused on your work? What do you do when you notice that you’re focusing more on your distractions than on the tasks that matter most? What has worked for you? What hasn’t worked for you? As always, I encourage you to share your thoughts with me and with our readers. Your input might just help somebody else to move forward in their life. We’re all in this together!
