Part 1 – Your Path to Success

Discover Your Path to Success – Part 1

Success can easily be compared to the “genie trapped in a bottle.” For many of us, it is a matter of finding a way to open the bottle, and then, follow a specific path. This path is filled with pitfalls, and traps, along the way, so it is wise to expand your vision by learning as you go.

To many people, success is a “fairytale” and as elusive as a Yeti. In reality, success is just around the corner, and sometimes already exists, as hidden treasure. I am not talking about sunken ships or Indiana Jones. What I am referring to are skills you already possess, friends and family who will help you, and accomplishments that you already have made.

When you put these hidden treasures, together, with your end goal in mind, you are on your way toward success. Now let’s look at a way to move forward every day, live a quality life, and help everyone around you, in the process.

Write all of your goals down, and keep them in a place that you will see. This could be on a piece of paper in your pocket, on your desk top, in a notebook, in your diary, or on your smart phone. Wherever you put this information, it should be a place where you will see it, every day.

Separate realistic from lofty goals, but don’t throw lofty goals out. Also, separate short-term goals, from long-term goals, and design estimated time frames, for measured results. You don’t have to share this with anyone, unless they share the same goal. If you have, at least, one close friend, spouse, or family, who shares the same dream, you are in a very strong position.

However, you don’t need to be a “politician” to be successful, if you learn to focus on your goals, every day. Now we have to go over a few questions that will also help you design your road map toward success.

Will your goals hurt anyone? Will you have to step on anyone to get what you want?

If you answered yes to either one of the above questions, you should redefine your goal or goals, so you can achieve it or them without harming anyone in the process. If that is not possible, throw that goal out, and move on. Your goals should help people and be morally sound.

Do you have a real passion for your goals?

This one is also important because, if your goal is “flipping burgers” for money, it won’t be long, before that gets old. I have yet to meet the person, who has a real passion for flipping burgers. Please don’t get me wrong, some people are very good at it, but I have known many short order cooks, who wish they were doing something else besides “slaving” over a hot stove.

What you choose, must be something you love doing, and the money will follow. There are so many people, who craft an occupation, based upon money alone, and learn to regret it. If you have a purpose in life you have “self-worth.” Self-worth is a very valuable hidden treasure.

Part 2 will follow shortly and add to the material presented here to help you discover your path to success.

Do You Know Your Purpose In Life?

Discover the Purpose of Your Life

If you’re like most people, you might not have figured out what you’re supposed to do with your life. What is your purpose?

What is a life purpose anyway? For our uses, we’re going to define it as something that you love to do that also has a great impact on the world. It’s that sweet spot where you’re having a great time and doing something wonderful for as many people as possible.

Most of us leave our lives up to chance. We slide into a profession that we don’t hate and stay there or in a similar situation until we’re ready to retire. Living your purpose usually requires taking action with the intention of finding it.

There are several ways you can attempt to discover the purpose of your life:

  1. Describe your ideal day. Project yourself several years into the future and imagine that your life is essentially perfect. What would your life look like? Are you working? What type of work are you doing? What do you do all day? Who is in your life?
    • Now that you know what the end looks like, what can you do today to take the first step in that direction?
  1. Try austerity. Go camping in a remote place. Leave the food at home, but bring plenty of water. Limit your sleep and just sit with yourself. When you’re miserable, bored, lonely, and tired, sometimes the answers become obvious.
  1. Volunteer. Find an organization in your community that interests you. Doing something worthwhile can be a good way to discover your purpose. Even if you come up short, at least you’ll have done something important.
  1. Assume you can do the impossible. When anything is possible, what would you do? Take action to bring your dreams to life.
  2. Write. Perhaps the most effective way to discover your life’s purpose is to spend an hour writing. At the top of your paper write, “My life’s purpose.” Now spend the next 60 minutes writing whatever pops into your mind.
  • When you find something that stirs strong positive feelings within you, you’re probably on the right track.
  1. Investigate a new hobby. We all have at least one activity we’ve been putting off until a more convenient time. Doing something new exposes you to new ideas and thoughts. Now is the time to jump in and get started. You might be surprised what you discover.
  2. Do something that terrifies you. Skydiving? Public speaking? You might find your life’s purpose during the process of conquering this fear.
  • This can be challenging and it might take some time, but get started today.
  1. Spend a day being totally inspired. From the time you wake up until the time you go to bed, attempt to spend every moment inspired. The right books, music, and movies can help you maintain an inspired mental state.
  • You’ll believe you can do anything. What would you do?
  1. Ask yourself what you would do if you had $10 million. How would you spend your time? What would your life look like? Can you figure out a way to make a living doing one of the activities you would be willing to do for free if you had the time?

Keep trying the above tips until you’ve found something that really excites you. When you find your purpose, there will be no doubt. Avoid spending all of your life thinking and planning. Get busy living.

Finding your life’s purpose will make life exciting and meaningful!

To your success.

Achieve Your Goals Using These 10 Methods

10 Ways To Achieve Your Goals In Life

If you’re ready to achieve your dreams and goals, no matter how big, take the following 10 Steps – one at a time – to ensure a successful outcome every time.

1. Choose goals that are consistent with your values and beliefs.

Then regularly check to make sure that your thoughts and actions are in perfect alignment with them.

You won’t work toward goals that conflict with your values.

You’re unable to achieve your goals when your thoughts and actions are inconsistent with them.

No matter how hard you work, your performance will be undermined.

2. Choose goals that are strategic.

High achievers know that strategic goals accomplish many outcomes.

For example, training properly for and running in a marathon accomplishes a number of great outcomes.

You will most certainly lose weight, reduce your cholesterol level, strengthen your heart, increase your energy and stamina, and improve your outlook.

3. Choose goals with transcendent purpose.

The very highest achievers develop goals that serve a purpose much greater than just fulfilling their personal desires.

These people hold grand visions and choose goals that reach far beyond their self-interests.

They take on causes, develop careers and create businesses as vehicles for making a positive difference not only in the lives of their direct contacts, co-workers and customers, but in the lives of many others as well.

When you choose and achieve goals with transcendent purpose, you leave a lasting legacy that makes this world a better place for all.

4. Accurately define your goals. What exactly do you want?

Envision your goals, name them and put specific numbers on them.

Define your goals in terms of dollars, pounds, weeks, percentages or inches.

No one can achieve an unclear goal. Be precise!

5. Ferret out the “whys” behind your goals.

You will reach goals that move or excite you and stimulate your imagination. You will reach goals that are meaningful and fulfilling.

You will reach goals that are vital to your health and well being, to your family and to your future. When the “whys” behind your goals stimulate, motivate and inspire you, you’ll find a way to achieve them.

6. Put your goals and the reasons behind them in writing.

There is power and magic in writing down your goals and the reasons why you chose them.

Record them on file cards and place the cards where you’ll see them throughout the day – on a mirror, or on your desk beside your computer.

Keep the cards with you wherever you go so that you can read them many times during the day.

7. Set a deadline.

As with defining your objectives, have the courage to be exact in setting deadlines for their achievement.

A pre-determined deadline provides the discipline required for achieving your goals.

Determine to get out of debt by May 31st, lose 65 pounds by Easter or double your sales revenues in 6 months.

A goal without a deadline is only a pipe dream.

8. Delineate intermediate milestones.

If you want to save $24,000 in 12 months, set intermediate milestones of $2,000 per month.

Setting smaller, specific intermediate goals makes achieving your ultimate goal far easier, and provides an efficient means of tracking your progress.

9. Get a partner.

High achievers understand the significant benefits of having at least one person who completely supports them and is part of their campaign.

Get a running buddy, make a bet with a friend to increase sales by 10% this month, enlist trusted, long-time colleagues to help you design a solid plan for your new business or hire a coach!

10. Go public with your goals.

Tell family, friends and colleagues about your goals and their deadlines.

Ask them to help you along the way and hold you accountable.

Knowing that you have people rooting for you is a powerful motivator.

Set yourself up for success by making a public commitment to reaching your goals on schedule.

Celebrate intermediate victories. Reward yourself for the achievement of each victory along the way.

Do You Know How To Be Successful?

Activating Your Success Blueprint

I am going to tell you the steps to “Activate Your Personal Success.” So, as you think of this outcome-whatever goal that you want to accomplish. Imagine if by accomplishing this goal or this outcome;

– Would it take anything away from who you are?
– Is there any excuse you can make right now that will stop your from accomplishing that goal?

One key in accomplishing any goal and activating your blueprint is to keep your goal in mind, keep it in your minds eye. Listen to your hypnosis processes daily and find that upon awakening act as if you are guaranteed the result that you’re seeking.

And when you act out of character, in other words, when you demonstrating behaviors or attitude that are counter to accomplishing your goals. You will change that the next time you listen to your hypnosis process, you will make the necessary changes. So that moving forward you will think act and respond with the goal in mind.

Each time that you practice using your hypnosis process you are going to find that your inner ability to see, hear, and experience in your mind’s eye improving.

And just as you learned when you read through Awaken the Genius you found that perhaps you’re more visual learner, maybe you’re more auditory, or you’re more kinesthetic. What we are going to ask you do, is to become more of a full sensory learner. Someone who can use all there senses, magnetize in the world around you want you want as your goal. And then go after it an achieve it.

The next step is to think about what needs to take place, or what needs to change in your life so that you can have this goal you set for yourself today? No matter what it is.

In other words, what are you going to have to give up that your holding onto dearly now? Because if you weren’t holding onto something dearly that’s stopping you from accomplishing this goal, you wouldn’t even be reading this article right how, you’d be out there accomplishing your goal.

For instance, let’s use an example of bowling; If somebody is told a different way to release the ball or perhaps a different mark out in the bowling lane, which is what a professional bowling might do. They would roll that ball over that arrow and it would hook into the pocket and give them a potential for a strike, but if they are so locked into their old way of rolling the ball, or throwing the ball down the alley that are not able to change they can’t get out of their own way, in other words, they can’t accomplish their goal.

What changes need to take place for you accomplish this goal, so you can “Activate Your Personal Success?

Next, I need you to find out what resources you have internally to accomplish your goal. During your hypnosis process take a mental inventory. This will help you discover what Skills, what Abilities, what Resources do you have?

I’m going to ask you to release any preconceived ideas about how you might accomplish your goal and open your mind to the possibility that there is an even greater possibility out there for you.

To your success.
